What a bonus - two bird reports in one year!
We are delighted to publish the 2014 Hertfordshire Bird Report well within a year of the date of the last record. This has been our aim for some time and this year we have done it.
Special congratulations and thanks to editor - Ted Fletcher, designer - Jack Fearnside, bird recorder - Ken Smith, data manager - Chris Dee, the Herts Rare Bird Panel, all the writers and reviewers and everyone else who has helped us.
Herts Bird Club volunteers, Murray Orchard, Alan Gardiner, Ken Smith, Mike Ilett and Tom Speller, addressing the envelopes and packing up the bird reports which were posted to Herts Bird Club members on Monday 9 November.
The Hertfordshire Bird Report 2014 will be published on 9th November, with 84 pages as ever packed with photographs and information about all our birds both common and rarities. Thanks to everyone who contributed for bringing the report out well within a year of the date of the last record.
Copies have been distributed to all current members of Herts Bird Club, non-members can buy a copy (see link below).
