Learning about Wildlife workshops – 2009-2010 programme

Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust, in collaboration with the University of Hertfordshire, the Lee Valley Regional Park Authority and HNHS, are running another series of Learning about Wildlife workshops throughout the year.

Learn about grasses, in the fieldThe range of subjects covered aims to introduce you to the wildlife around you and improve your knowledge and understanding of their natural history. The tutors are local experts in their field.

Venue: Brickendon Village Hall and Great Groves Wood 
Tutor: Neale Holmes-Smith Cost: £30 A session on the origins and structure of woodlands, woodland survey methods and practical identification will be followed by a visit to a local woodland to put your new skills into practice. Full details here
