Flora of Hertfordshire – book launch events and photos

02 Jan 2010
Congratulaions to Trevor James and all those in the Herts Flora Group on the publication of the latest HNHS book – Flora of Hertfordshire.

We hosted two book launch events: over 50 people joined us at Hitching Museum and Art Gallery on 7 December and 70 people came to the event at the Mansion House (Royal Entomological Society) on 9 December.

The events were an opportunity to thanks those who helped with the Flora survey work. We were delighted that Sir Simon Bowes Lyon (photographed right) and some of the other landowners who gave permission for access to their land were able to attend the Hitchin launch.
