HNHS Autumn Meeting - a great afternoon, 12 Nov 2011
The new venue for our Autumn meeting and AGM, Woolmer Green Hall, proved a great success with over 100 members and guests attending.
Our Chairman, Trevor James, introduced the proceedings.
Hertfordshire Geology and Landscape now published
Almost 100 people gathered at Verulamium Museum on 14 December to celebrate the publication by Hertfordshire Natural History Society with Hertfordshire Geological Society of this major new book by John Catt on the county's earth heritage.
What a success - our Autumn Meeting and AGM - woodland wildlife
A bright autumn afternoon welcomed the Society?s 2010 Autumn meeting and AGM to Haileybury College on 30 October. Luckily the Ayckborn Theatre was spacious enough for the gratifyingly high attendance, 110 members and guests, although every available seat and chair was brought into use.
Our Chairman Trevor James welcomed everyone to the meeting and introduced the speakers.
